Next Steps

We believe God continually calls us to take a next step!

We are all sinners in need of a savior (Romans 3:23). We are saved by faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8). Salvation is the free gift of eternal life available to all through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says: “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). This is your first step if you haven’t yet put your faith in Jesus Christ.

After salvation, the Bible commands believers to make a public profession of faith through baptism by immersion (Acts 2:38). If you are a new believer or you have never been baptized, baptism is your next step. Contact the church office if you are interested in taking this step.

As a new believer, it is crucial that you surround yourself with other believers who can lift you up, encourage you, and keep you accountable (Hebrews 10:25). Every person who joins Cross Roads must have completed steps 1 and 2 listed above. We would love for you to become a member of our church family! If you are interested in church membership please contact the church office or respond during the Sunday morning invitation.

Church is not something you attend; it is a family you belong to. We believe exceptional growth is achieved by connecting with other believers (Proverbs 27:17). At Cross Roads, there are many opportunities for you to connect on a deeper level. Take your next step and get connected today! Please visit our ministry pages for more information.

God has uniquely gifted and equipped you. God calls you to use your gifts to glorify Him (1 Peter 4:10). You are a valuable member of this team and without you the church will never be as strong as it ought to. At Cross Roads, there are so many opportunities to serve and we are sure we will find a place for you to serve where your God-given gifts are utilized. If you are interested in serving, please contact the church office.

God commands all believers to share the gospel (Mark 16:15). Your testimony is your greatest evangelistic tool. God can use your story to impact the lives of those around you. Take this step today and share with others the amazing things God is doing in your life and in our church!

I encourage you to take that next step. I can guarantee that it wont be safe, it wont be easy, it wont be comfortable, but obedience to God is always more than worth it
